The Houthi terrorist group

The Houthi terrorist group continues to operate according to an Iranian agenda aimed at destabilizing the region, not Yemen alone. Following recent attacks on several areas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Houthis have sought to fortify military positions on hills overlooking the Bab al-Mandab Strait and Al-Mukha, with the participation of experts from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and members of Lebanese Hezbollah in launching and operating missiles and drones. The Houthis are focusing on constructing roads leading to these hills, in preparation for transporting, storing, and stockpiling weapons and equipment in mountainous sites in readiness for military operations, and to intimidate the Bab al-Mandab Strait in order to disrupt international navigation.
