Al-Sumeit: Justice, transparency, and equal opportunity in the selection of Public Prosecution members

Justice Minister and Advisor Nasser Al-Sumeit affirmed that the new mechanism for selecting members of the Public Prosecution represents a significant leap in standardizing evaluation criteria, consolidating justice and transparency, and ensuring equal opportunities among applicants. During his visit yesterday to the electronic written exams held at Kuwait University for graduates of the 2024/2025 academic year, who applied for the position of “Junior Legal Researcher” qualified for the role of “Deputy Public Prosecutor (Grade C),” he stated that 855 male and female citizens from the 2024/2025 academic year graduates applied for the position, of whom 632 met the prescribed conditions to take the exam. He emphasized that sons and daughters of the nation stand on an equal footing, and that merit based on objective results is the decisive factor in the selection process.
