Head of the Civil Aviation Authority Discusses Strengthening Cooperation with His Saudi Counterpart and the Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation

The Chairman of the Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority, Sheikh Engineer Hamad Al-Mubarak, held discussions yesterday with Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation Samah Al-Hafni and Saudi Civil Aviation Authority Chairman Abdulaziz Al-Duwaish on ways to enhance cooperation in the field of civil aviation.

This came during two separate meetings on the sidelines of the Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority Chairman’s participation in the activities of the second edition of the Alexandria International Air and Space Exhibition, held in Egypt from September 7 to 10, according to a statement issued by the Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority.

The statement said that the meetings addressed a number of topics of mutual interest in the field of civil aviation, foremost among them updating and developing operational aspects, as well as strengthening cooperation and partnership between the parties, and exchanging expertise, ideas, and visions to support and develop the civil aviation sector.

They also discussed ways to enhance cooperation in a number of projects and initiatives related to the civil aviation sector in general, thereby strengthening integration and coordination among sister countries and supporting the development of the aviation system in accordance with the latest international standards and practices.

Both parties emphasized the importance of continuing communication and coordination, and exchanging expertise, to serve common interests and support the path of development and growth in the civil aviation sector.
