Al-Ansari: Al-Najat Charity Gives Special Attention to Quran Education
Jassim Al-Ansari, Director of the Communications Center at Al-Najah Charity Association, confirmed that the “Sanabil for the People of the Quran” project represents a comprehensive Quranic initiative through which the association seeks to serve the Book of Allah, support its memorizers, teachers, and students, and open multiple avenues for philanthropists to contribute to the dissemination of Quranic education and sustain its impact.
Al-Ansari stated that the project’s idea is inspired by the divine verse: “The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] growing seven ears; in each ear is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and All-Knowing” (Quran 2:261). He emphasized that the project transforms a single donation into seven Quranic pathways that serve the people of the Quran and support the educational and memorization ecosystem.
He clarified that the “Sanabil” project includes sponsoring a Quran memorizer, sponsoring a Quran teacher, sponsoring a Quran study circle, providing a Quranic kit, sponsoring circles for students with learning difficulties, as well as training and developing Quran teachers. This creates a comprehensive system that combines student care, teacher support, and the provision of a suitable learning environment.
Al-Ansari added that the association pays special attention to Quranic education, drawing on the Prophet’s saying: “The best among you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.” He noted that supporting Quran circles does not merely impact the teaching of recitation and memorization; it also contributes to shaping students’ personalities and strengthening their connection to the Book of Allah and its values.
He pointed out that the project targets multiple segments, primarily Quran memorizers, Quran teachers and instructors, students in Quran circles, children with learning difficulties, and communities in need of systematic Quranic education.
He outlined that the project’s key objectives include elevating the status of the Quran in hearts and societies, supporting memorizers, teachers, and circles, enabling students to learn the Book of Allah, raising the standard of Quranic education, and providing learning opportunities for all categories without exception.
Al-Ansari emphasized that the humanitarian impact of the project extends beyond direct support, by contributing to the graduation of proficient memorizers, empowering teachers to fulfill their mission, revitalizing Quran circles and sustaining their output, and spreading Quranic education in needy communities.
He highlighted Al-Najah Charity Association’s commitment to sustaining the project through supporting Quranic endowments, investing in teacher training, and building a comprehensive educational system that continues to fulfill its mission, while ensuring that support reaches its rightful recipients according to approved frameworks.
Al-Ansari called on philanthropists and benefactors to seize this opportunity and contribute to the “7 Sanabil for the People of the Quran” project, affirming that serving the Book of Allah opens doors to goodness, and that giving in this field combines human support, reverence for the Quran, and the spread of knowledge.
Concluding his remarks, Al-Ansari said: “With a single donation, a benefactor can open seven doors of goodness for the people of the Quran, contribute to shaping a memorizer, supporting a teacher, revitalizing a circle, empowering a student, and training a teacher, so that the impact of their generosity continues as long as the Quran is recited and taught.”
