Civil Aviation Authority Strengthens Its International Presence at EgyptAir and Space Exhibition

The Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority, chaired by Sheikh Engineer Hamoud Mubarak Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, participated in the second edition of the Egypt International Air and Space Exhibition 2026, hosted in the city of Alamein from September 7 to 10, with broad participation from specialized entities and companies from various countries around the world. The Authority emphasized that its participation in the exhibition aligns with the State of Kuwait’s commitment to strengthening its presence at international forums focused on the civil aviation and space sectors, and to leveraging global platforms for exchanging expertise and experiences, as well as staying abreast of the latest technologies and innovations in the sector.
The exhibition saw the participation of 50 countries and 250 exhibiting entities, alongside 100 aircraft and 50 air displays, with approximately 12,000 visitors and participants representing local, regional, and international organizations and companies, including major institutions operating in the fields of aviation, space, technology, defense, and related services.
The Authority clarified that its participation contributed to enhancing communication with several specialized international bodies, organizations, and companies, exploring opportunities for cooperation and partnership, and learning about the latest global practices and experiences in civil aviation. The meetings and discussions covered updates on aviation safety and security, airport and infrastructure development, digital transformation, sustainability and innovation, as well as modern technologies and air services, keeping pace with the rapid developments witnessed by the global aviation sector.
The Authority reaffirmed that the participation also falls within its strategy to strengthen international partnerships and exchange knowledge and expertise, while continuing to keep abreast of global standards and practices in the civil aviation sector, thereby supporting development plans and elevating the level of services and operations in the State of Kuwait.
It expressed its aspiration to build on the outcomes of the participation and enhance cooperation with international and regional entities, in the interest of shared benefits and supporting sustainable growth in the civil aviation sector, while consolidating Kuwait’s presence at specialized international forums and events.
