Ministry of Labour: 100% compliance rate among companies with the summer midday work ban

The Public Authority for Manpower issued the final statistical report on the implementation of Ministerial Decision No. (3) of 2026, which prohibits outdoor work during midday hours (from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) throughout the summer season, from June 1 to August 31, 2026. The supervisory report showed full compliance by employers and companies following field monitoring, as inspection teams’ efforts resulted in a 100% response and corrective action rate after follow-up inspections across various governorates of the country.

Details of Supervisory Indicators and Inspection Rounds:

Visits and Violations: Inspection teams conducted 617 field inspection visits, resulting in the identification of 155 companies in their first violation, with 415 workers present at those sites during the prohibited hours.

Re-inspection Results: Follow-up activities demonstrated that all violating companies complied with adjusting their conditions, with 155 companies meeting the required standards and zero violations recorded during re-inspections.

Reports and Exceptions: The Authority received 37 reports through communication channels, as well as 6 requests for exceptions to work during prohibited hours, all of which were reviewed and fully approved after meeting the applicable regulations.
