The Public Relations Department of the Kuwait Municipality announced that field teams from the General Sanitation and Road Works Directorates are intensifying their inspection rounds to detect and remove violations of the Sanitation and Road Works Regulations, and to activate the supervisory role of oversight bodies in enforcing municipal laws in cooperation with relevant authorities.
In this context, Saad Al-Kharinj, Director of the Al-Ahmadi Governorate Municipality Branch, clarified that the objective of intensifying field rounds is to identify violators and take all legal measures against them. He noted that his oversight team places great emphasis on improving sanitation levels in areas under its responsibility, as well as removing anything that detracts from the aesthetic appearance and obstructs roads in all areas, through field rounds conducted to preserve the urban image of the governorate.
The round resulted in the removal of three mobile kiosks, three food trucks, and one abandoned boat violating regulations in the Al-Hijan area, and their transfer to the impoundment site.
He further indicated that field rounds by the oversight team of the General Sanitation and Road Works Directorate will continue, emphasizing that the team will not tolerate violations of the General Sanitation and Road Works Regulations and will take all necessary legal actions against violators.
