Meteorology Authority warns of extreme heat and relative humidity exceeding 90%

The Meteorology Department has forecast that Kuwait will experience extremely hot and relatively humid conditions during the day on Tuesday, with temperatures reaching highs of 47 degrees Celsius and lows of 31 degrees Celsius, accompanied by record humidity levels that may approach 90 percent.
The weather bulletin issued by the department noted that daytime winds will be variable in direction, shifting to southeasterly, with light to moderate speeds ranging between 8 and 32 kilometers per hour. As evening approaches and during nighttime hours, the weather will become warm and humid, with winds shifting from southeasterly to northeasterly, maintaining light to moderate speeds between 10 and 30 kilometers per hour.
Relevant authorities have warned drivers and individuals in open areas about the potential for light fog to form in certain regions during the evening and early night hours, which may temporarily reduce visibility. They have urged everyone to exercise caution while driving and to follow official weather updates.
