Final accounts of the Agriculture Authority for 2025/2026 approved with a deficit of 101.6 million dinars

The Official Gazette, “Kuwait Today,” published Law-Decree No. 82 of 2026 concerning the approval of the final accounts of the Public Authority for Agriculture and Fisheries Affairs for the fiscal year 2025/2026, which includes the final financial figures and data for the agriculture and fisheries sector. The decree details the following financial data: Total expenditures: 109,179,790.399 Kuwaiti dinars. Total revenues: 7,539,417.314 Kuwaiti dinars. Net deficit (excess of expenditures over revenues): 101,640,373.085 Kuwaiti dinars. Article One of the decree stipulates that this increase in expenditures shall be covered through the budgets of ministries and government departments, specifically via the Ministry of Finance (Public Accounts) for the same fiscal year.
