US Ambassador to the Occupation: No Plan to Displace Palestinians from Gaza

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee said yesterday that there is no plan to force Palestinians to leave Gaza, stressing that Israel must ensure security in the West Bank.

Huckabee told journalists in the West Bank: “I can assure you unequivocally that there is no Israeli plan to forcibly deport Gaza’s population, and no one is proposing forced displacement.”

On the ground, rescue teams in the Gaza Strip yesterday recovered the remains of 55 martyrs from the rubble of a house destroyed by Israeli occupation forces in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in southern Gaza City.
