Kuwaiti-Russian cooperation in security, emergencies, and infrastructure protection

Kuwait and Russia discussed yesterday the enhancement of cooperation and the exchange of expertise between the two countries in the fields of security, emergency management, and the protection of critical infrastructure and facilities, as well as the use of robots, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), artificial intelligence applications, early warning systems, and emergency response mechanisms. This came during a meeting held by Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs at Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior, Major General Hamad Al-Munifi, with Roman Koreninin, Deputy Head of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, on the sidelines of the 16th International Salon for Means and Equipment Ensuring Security, “Integrated Security,” held in the Russian city of Kazan.
