Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah: Gulf media production is not complete merely by its creation, but by its reaching the audience and its impact.

Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Director General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jointly Produced Programmes Production Organization, confirmed that the availability of the program “Doroub Araka” on the entertainment screens aboard Kuwait Airways flights, starting Monday, September 7, 2026, is part of the collaboration between the Organization and Kuwait’s national carrier, and aligns with the Organization’s strategy to expand the reach of Gulf content and deliver it to audiences through diverse viewing platforms.

Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah stated that the presence of “Doroub Araka” on Kuwait Airways flights represents a new step in the program’s journey, allowing passengers to enjoy distinctive Gulf content during their travels, thereby enhancing the presence of Gulf media production and broadening its reach to audiences within and beyond the region.

He noted that this initiative marks the beginning of a broader path launched from the Organization’s headquarters in Kuwait, to be followed by similar collaborations with both government and private Gulf airlines, opening new horizons for marketing and disseminating Gulf productions and reaching wider audience segments.

Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah added, “The Organization is advancing its vision, which places content quality at the forefront of its priorities, while simultaneously attaching equal importance to its marketing and dissemination. Gulf media production is not complete merely by its creation, but by its ability to reach audiences and achieve presence and impact.”

He pointed out that the Organization is working to diversify the platforms for showcasing its productions and expanding its partnerships with national, Gulf, and private sector entities, keeping pace with the rapid developments in the media industry and changing viewing habits, thereby strengthening the competitiveness of Gulf content and its access to new spaces.

He concluded by emphasizing that the coming phase will witness further initiatives and partnerships aimed at expanding the presence of Gulf programmatic production and delivering it to audiences wherever they are, reflecting the shared Gulf identity and highlighting the wealth of creative and media talents and capabilities within the GCC member states.
