Al-Manaber Al-Quraniya Honors Winners of Mutlaq Al-Qarawi and Wael Al-Sadah Competitions

The Al-Manaber Al-Quraniya Association honored the winners of the Mutlaq Al-Qarawi and Wael Al-Sadah competitions during a ceremony held on Sunday evening, attended by Board Chairman Abdulmoneim Al-Filakawi, his deputy Khaled Al-Mutair, and General Manager Dr. Mohammed Al-Amran, along with a number of personalities and representatives of charitable associations and individuals interested in serving the Holy Quran.

The association’s General Manager, Dr. Mohammed Al-Amran, stated that organizing the two competitions was in recognition of the contributions made by Mutlaq Al-Qarawi and Wael Al-Sadah during their tenure on the association’s board of directors, and the efforts they exerted to support its programs aimed at spreading, teaching, and memorizing the Holy Quran.

He clarified that the Mutlaq Al-Qarawi competition, held on August 15, saw the participation of approximately 1,200 contestants across youth, young adults, and adult categories. Meanwhile, the Wael Al-Sadah competition, held on August 20, attracted around 1,200 students from primary, intermediate, and secondary grades, for both boys and girls.

Dr. Al-Amran explained that the selection of the top three winners in all categories was determined through a live electronic draw broadcast via the association’s Instagram account, ensuring transparency in the selection process.

He emphasized that the competitions aim to strengthen the connection of various segments of society with the Holy Quran, encouraging them to memorize, reflect upon, and act according to its teachings. He noted that the association continues to implement initiatives and programs dedicated to serving the Book of God.

The ceremony concluded with the honoring of the winners and the presentation of their awards. The association expressed its appreciation for the contributions made by Mutlaq Al-Qarawi and Wael Al-Sadah to its journey.
