Public Works: Closure of Street 110 in Quarter 5 and Street 130 in Quarter 2 in Qurtaiba

The Ministry of Public Works announced yesterday, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, the closure of Street 110 in Block 5 and Street 130 in Block 2 in the Qurtuba area due to asphalt paving works, effective from Saturday, September 5, until Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

On another note, the Ministry of Public Works, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic, announced the closure of the slow lane on the Sixth Ring Road heading toward Jahra, from the Martyrs’ Area opposite to “Mall 360,” along with the closure of the exit ramp for vehicles coming from the Martyrs’ Area toward the Sixth Ring Road in the direction of Jahra. The alternative exit will require drivers to take the service road and exit at Mall 360 onto the Sixth Ring Road. These closures will be in effect for three days, from Friday at 12:00 a.m. on September 4, 2026, until Sunday at 5:00 a.m. on September 6, 2026, for major asphalt maintenance works.
