Iran Reiterates Its Unjustified Attacks on the Country

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Kuwait’s right to take necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty, protect its security, and defend its interests. The Ministry expressed Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the reprehensible Iranian attacks using hostile missiles and drones, which targeted several sites in the country yesterday morning, including a residential complex, in a blatant violation of its sovereignty and a threat to its security and stability. The Ministry reiterated Kuwait’s full right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty, protect its security and interests, and ensure the safety of its people and residents on its territory, in accordance with the provisions of international law.

For his part, the spokesperson for the General Fire Force, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Gharib, announced that fire crews managed yesterday morning to control a fire that broke out in a residential complex in one of the capital’s districts after it was targeted by a hostile drone launched by the reprehensible Iranian aggression. He confirmed that no human casualties were recorded, and the losses were limited to material damage.
