Ministry of Commerce activates complaint service for electronic platforms and apps in accordance with Decision 109 of 2026

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced the activation of a service for submitting complaints related to transactions between customers and providers of digital platforms and applications, coinciding with the implementation of Ministerial Decision No. (109) of 2026. This step aims to regulate the relationship among the involved parties and expedite complaint resolution procedures in accordance with approved protocols, thereby enhancing consumer rights protection and raising transparency standards in digital transactions. The service is officially available through the Commercial Control Portal at the following link: http://ccas.moci.gov.kw. The committee responsible for examining complaints and disputes arising between customers and service providers on digital platforms and applications is tasked with reviewing reports and taking necessary actions in line with prevailing regulations. The Ministry emphasized that this activation is part of its ongoing efforts to develop commercial control mechanisms and keep pace with developments in the e-commerce sector, contributing to the establishment of a secure and organized digital trading environment.
