Al-Omar discusses with Bahrain's Minister of Communications the enhancement of technological cooperation

Omar Al-Omar, Kuwait’s Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology and Acting Minister of Media and Culture, held talks with Sheikh Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Minister of Transport and Communications, to explore ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and enhance integration in the fields of technology and digital transformation.

The meeting took place during Minister Al-Omar’s reception of Sheikh Abdullah Al Khalifa at the Exhibition and Conference Center in the Mulham district of Riyadh, the Saudi capital, on the sidelines of their joint participation in the “Lib 2026” conference and exhibition, which specializes in technology and innovation.

The discussion reviewed the latest developments and updates in the communications and information technology sector. Both sides emphasized the importance of opening new avenues for cooperation between the two brotherly countries, aiming to improve the efficiency of technologies used and keep pace with emerging changes in the technological sector.

Najat Ibrahim, Acting Director General of the Central Agency for Information Technology, attended the meeting.
