Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef yesterday honored personnel of the General Directorate for Combating Narcotics who played a key role in thwarting the largest operation of its kind in the history of the State of Kuwait to manufacture and distribute Lariqa, a psychoactive substance. Al-Yousef stressed that this seizure should not be the end of the matter, directing authorities to continue investigating all leads in the case and to expose anyone proven to be involved in importing or distributing the materials. He affirmed that there would be no favoritism or cover-up for anyone, emphasizing that nothing is greater than Kuwait.
