Google Launches New Trip Planning Features Powered by Artificial Intelligence

Google announced the launch of a suite of trip-planning features within its AI Mode in Search, designed to help users search for trips, monitor flight and hotel prices, and complete accommodation bookings. The new features include a trip price-tracking tool inspired by Google Flights, allowing users to specify their destination and travel dates through AI Mode, which then presents options from more than 300 airlines and travel sites. Once the price-tracking feature is activated, Google sends email notifications when prices change for the specified destination and dates. The company stated that the feature is currently available in all regions and languages where AI Mode is offered, except in countries and territories within the European Economic Area. Additionally, users worldwide can now use AI Mode to estimate the cost of flights or hotels using miles and points. After selecting a destination and travel date, users can see the cost of a flight ticket in miles or view hotel prices using reward points.
