Trump: We will get 65 billion barrels of Venezuelan oil

U.S. President Donald Trump announced the signing of a massive deal with Venezuela that would grant access to more than 65 billion barrels of Venezuelan oil reserves, in a move that strengthens rapprochement with Venezuela following the ouster of President Nicolás Maduro. Trump stated on his Truth Social account that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth had successfully negotiated the deal, which he described as “the largest in the world,” with Venezuela’s interim president Delcy Rodríguez, Maduro’s former vice president and former oil minister.
