Han Zheng Meets Chinese Foreign Minister to Discuss Strengthening Kuwait-China Partnership

China’s Vice President Han Zheng received Kuwait’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Sabah on Monday, on the sidelines of the minister’s official visit to the Chinese capital, Beijing. During the meeting, the Foreign Minister conveyed greetings from His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, to Chinese President Xi Jinping, State Council Premier Li Qiang, and Vice President Han Zheng, extending best wishes for continued progress and prosperity for China’s leadership, government, and people. The meeting addressed the longstanding historical ties between Kuwait and China, with both sides exploring ways to develop the strategic partnership between the two countries and enhance cooperation across various fields to advance mutual interests. The discussions also covered key developments in the regional and international arenas, along with exchanges of views on several issues and files of shared interest. The visit comes amid a mutual commitment to advancing Kuwait-China relations through greater cooperation and coordination, and strengthening the partnership between the two countries in areas of common priority.
