Dasman Diabetes Institute Concludes Summer Training Program with Participation of 46 Students and Recent Graduates

The Dasman Diabetes Institute, under the auspices of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences, concluded its 2026 summer training program by organizing the annual scientific and research posters event, which featured 46 trainees, including students and recent graduates from various scientific and medical disciplines.
In a press statement yesterday, the institute said the event included presentations of scientific posters summarizing the research projects completed by participants during their training under the supervision of a distinguished group of specialists. The event was attended by the institute’s Director General, Dr. Jasem Al-Abduljader, along with several researchers, physicians, and staff members.
According to the statement, Dr. Al-Abduljader expressed pride and admiration for the contributions of the participants, emphasizing that the program provides a comprehensive environment and realistic practical opportunities that help refine scientific skills and enhance the research capabilities of participants, whether they are students or recent graduates at the beginning of their professional careers.
He clarified that the two-month summer training program encompassed diverse research projects and initiatives focused on diabetes and its complications, noting that the program’s objective is to equip participants with fundamental skills in scientific research, scientific writing, and working within integrated research teams.
Dr. Al-Abduljader reaffirmed the Dasman Diabetes Institute’s commitment to providing an inspiring environment for developing the new generation of researchers, supported by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences, and wished all participants continued success and achievement in their professional and scientific careers.
