Al-Hawila: Continuing efforts to develop mechanisms for protecting and stabilizing the family, and upgrading shelter centers

Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaili, emphasized the paramount importance of continuing efforts to develop coordination mechanisms and enhance the level of services and programs provided by the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, thereby ensuring the strengthening of its pivotal role in protecting the family and supporting its stability within society.
This statement came in a press comment made by Dr. Al-Huwaili on the sidelines of an inspection visit she conducted today, Monday, to monitor the operations of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs. During the visit, she closely reviewed the performance of various departments following the restructuring of the Council’s organizational framework. The Minister also met with leaders and officials during the tour to follow up on ongoing work plans and discuss ways to improve institutional efficiency.
Regarding professional discipline, in a firm message aimed at ensuring work quality, Dr. Al-Huwaili stressed the importance of all leaders and employees adhering to attendance and professional discipline through strict compliance with the “fingerprint system.” She underscored the necessity of assuming national and professional responsibility and fully committing to job duties, noting that this constitutes a fundamental pillar contributing to enhancing institutional performance, delivering superior services, and facilitating procedures for clients.
The inspection tour included a comprehensive follow-up of the Council’s departments. The Minister reviewed the operational mechanisms in shelter centers and the vital services provided there, as well as the efforts of the Social and Psychological Counseling Department.
At the conclusion of her tour, Dr. Al-Huwaili directed the need for continuous follow-up of these sensitive centers and diligent efforts to develop them and enhance their operational efficiency, ensuring the provision of a safe, healthy, and integrated environment for all beneficiaries of their services.
