Municipality Tenders for Maintenance of Signage in Sabah Al-Ahmad and Al-Khiran
The Kuwait Municipality officially announced the issuance of Tender No. (18/2024-2025) for the maintenance of directional signage in the Sabah Al-Ahmad Residential Area and the Khiran Residential Area, in accordance with the approved general, specific, and technical conditions and specifications.
The Municipality clarified in its announcement, numbered (100/2026), that companies interested in participating and competing for the tender may obtain the official documents from the Bids and Contracts Administration (Tenders Department - Procurement Supervision), located in the central building on the fourth floor of the main Municipality building, against a non-refundable fee of 150 Kuwaiti Dinars payable via fiscal stamps.
Submission Conditions and Closing Date
The Municipality set 12:00 noon on Monday, September 21, 2026, as the final deadline for depositing bids in the designated box, located at the Bids and Contracts Administration on the tenth floor of the Minister’s Tower within the main building. It also specified that the phone number (22401044) is reserved for responding to any inquiries related to the tender.
The Municipality stated that submitted bids will remain valid and binding on the bidders for a period of 90 days, starting from the date of the session scheduled for bid opening.
Initial Guarantee and Mandatory Attendance
The Municipality stipulated that bids must be accompanied by an initial guarantee of no less than 2% of the total value of the submitted bid, in the form of a certified (bank) check or a bank guarantee issued in favor of the Kuwait Municipality and valid for the entire duration of the bid’s validity. It was further emphasized that this tender is “non-divisible.”
In this context, the Municipality administration stressed that all companies participating in the tender must send an official representative to attend the public session designated for bid opening, leaving full responsibility for any consequences arising from the failure of company representatives to attend.
