The Israeli army arrested 25 Palestinians, including released prisoners and a journalist, during raids across various areas of the occupied West Bank on Monday.
The Prisoners’ Media Office, a non-governmental organization, stated that the army arrested 10 Palestinians from the village of Marah Rabah south of Bethlehem, and five others from Balata camp east of Nablus, including a released prisoner. The office added that Israeli forces re-arrested another released prisoner from the city of Nablus.
In Jenin governorate, the army arrested three Palestinians, two of whom were from Jenin city and the third from the village of Jilbun, according to the same source. In Hebron governorate, Israeli forces arrested a journalist from Al-Fawwar camp in the southern part of the governorate. In Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate, the Israeli army arrested a released prisoner from the village of Aboud in the northwest of the governorate, as indicated by the office.
In Qalqilya governorate, the Prisoners’ Media Office clarified that Israeli army forces arrested four Palestinians from among the residents of the governorate.
These arrests are part of a campaign of raids and house searches carried out by the Israeli army since dawn on Monday in various areas of the occupied West Bank, coinciding with tightened military measures in several cities, towns, and camps, according to the office.

The number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails exceeds 9,400, including 92 women and more than 370 children, according to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, which announced these figures on August 4.
