Namah Charitable Society under the Al-Islah Association continues to sponsor the "Water is Life" grant to enhance global awareness of the water crisis

The second edition of the Humanitarian Photography Grant, under the slogan “Water is Life,” announced the continued sponsorship of the grant by Namaa Charity, part of the Asalah Social Reform Association. This step reflects Namaa’s belief in the importance of leveraging documentary photography to serve humanitarian causes and support initiatives that raise global awareness of the clean water crisis and enhance efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
Abdulaziz Al-Kandari, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Namaa Charity at Asalah Social Reform Association, stated: “Namaa Charity’s continued sponsorship of the Humanitarian Photography Grant in its second edition, under the slogan ‘Water is Life,’ reaffirms our commitment to supporting distinctive initiatives that contribute to elevating humanitarian issues on the global stage and utilizing creative and media tools to serve humanity and sustainable development. We view this grant as more than just an artistic or documentary initiative; it is a humanitarian platform that highlights the challenges faced by millions of people worldwide in accessing clean water, transforming human stories into impactful messages capable of reaching communities and policymakers, and raising awareness about the importance of this vital issue.”
