"Humanity's Giving" Calls on People of Goodwill to Support the "Water Supply" Project for the People of Gaza

The Director General of the Ata’a Humanitarian Association, lawyer Omar Al-Shaqra, called on philanthropists and benefactors to support the “Water Supply in Palestine” project, emphasizing that residents of the Gaza Strip are suffering from a severe shortage of clean water, which has led to the spread of serious diseases due to the consumption of contaminated water.

Al-Shaqra stated, “We implement projects that have a direct impact on the beneficiary population. Our ‘Water Supply’ project is carried out in coordination with the Ministries of Social Affairs and Foreign Affairs, and in collaboration with registered associations within the framework of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is part of Kuwaiti humanitarian efforts aimed at alleviating the suffering of our brothers in Gaza.” He noted that providing water is among the greatest forms of relief, citing the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) saying: “The best charity is providing water.”

Al-Shaqra urged people to contact and support the project by calling the center or visiting the association’s social media accounts. He clarified that the door to contribution for this project is open to everyone, according to their means, explaining that every donation to the “Water Supply” project helps provide clean water to displaced persons in Gaza, protects them from diseases, alleviates their suffering, and strengthens their bonds of Islamic brotherhood.
