Arab League: Attacks by the Occupied Entity Aim to Thwart Mediation Efforts

Yesterday, settlers breached the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem, under the protection of Israeli occupation police. The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that 181 settlers entered the Al-Aqsa compound in groups, carrying out provocative tours in its courtyards and performing Talmudic rituals under the protection of occupation forces.

The Arab League strongly condemned the brutal Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, which targeted tents for displaced persons and residential apartments, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries. In a statement yesterday, Nabil Fahmy, the Secretary-General of the Arab League, emphasized that the Israeli bombardment, accompanied by a broader military campaign in the West Bank involving demolition operations and arrest raids in several cities, reflects a clear Israeli attempt to sabotage the road map announced two days ago as a basis for transitioning to the second phase of the ceasefire agreement, and to begin ending the suffering of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and achieving the Israeli withdrawal.
