Israeli settlers injure two Palestinians

Two Palestinians were injured on Sunday evening, and several areas in the West Bank were targeted by incursions from Israeli settlers, which included attacks on residents’ property.

Palestine Broadcasting Corporation (PBC), a state-run radio station, reported that two Palestinians were injured after being attacked by settlers on the outskirts of Beit Ula, northwest of Hebron city in the southern West Bank.

In the northern West Bank, the station reported that settlers attacked a home in the town of Beita, south of Nablus city, and piled garbage in front of it, without mentioning any injuries or damages.

In the central West Bank, the station reported that the Israeli army and settlers invaded the outskirts of the Tira neighborhood in Ramallah, without providing further details.

For its part, the official Palestinian news agency, Wafa, reported that settlers invaded the village of Abu Anjam, southeast of Bethlehem (in the south), and positioned themselves in several of its neighborhoods and on the main street, “causing a state of fear among residents, who feared their homes and property would be attacked.”

The agency noted that homes in the village and citizens’ vehicles were attacked by settlers.

According to Wafa, settler incursions also targeted the area of “Gharaba” and the outskirts of the villages of Sinjil, Kafr Malik, and Deir Ghassir, northeast of Ramallah, as well as Taybeh and Yabrud, east of the city, and Beitillu, west of the city.

According to the Palestinian Committee Against the Wall and Settlement, settlers committed 3,488 attacks against Palestinians and their property during the first half of 2026. These attacks included assaults on individuals and property, land confiscations, the establishment of new settlement outposts, and preventing farmers from accessing their lands.

Palestinian data indicate that approximately 750,000 settlers live in 156 settlements and 360 outposts in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
