Israeli occupation army arrests 15 Palestinians in raids in the West Bank

The Israeli army arrested at least 15 Palestinians on Wednesday morning during raids and incursions in various areas of the West Bank, concentrated in the Nablus governorate in the north. Local sources told Anadolu that Israeli forces arrested 11 Palestinians from villages and towns in the Nablus governorate after raiding and searching their homes. They added that Israeli troops arrested two Palestinians from the towns of Far’oon and Sa’ida in the Tulkarm governorate, following raids on their residences. One Palestinian was also arrested from the Jalazone refugee camp north of Ramallah, after his home was raided and searched. In Jenin, Israeli forces arrested a Palestinian after raiding his home in the eastern neighborhood, searching it, and smashing its contents. Cities and towns in the occupied West Bank are witnessing near-daily Israeli incursions, accompanied by arrests and attacks against Palestinians and their property. Israeli military and settler attacks in the West Bank have escalated since the start of the genocide on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, resulting, according to official Palestinian data, in the killing of more than 1,182 Palestinians and injuring around 13,000, as well as the arrest of nearly 24,000 during the same period. The pace of violations and incursions has increased since the events in the town of Tell in Nablus on Friday, during which four Palestinians and two Israelis were killed in an attack carried out by settlers under the protection of the Israeli army, according to Palestinian sources.
