His Highness the Amir of Kuwait receives a phone call from the Egyptian President

His Highness the Amir of the State, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received a telephone call today from his brother, His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, a sisterly country. The call reviewed the close and distinguished fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples, and discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, as well as the latest developments on the regional and international fronts, particularly concerning the current circumstances facing the region. His Excellency emphasized the Arab Republic of Egypt’s steadfast support for the State of Kuwait and its backing of all measures taken to safeguard its security and sovereignty, and prayed to Almighty Allah to protect the State of Kuwait and its fraternal people from all harm and evil.
