The Medical Accountability Authority announced the launch of the “Request a Certificate for Whom It May Concern” service through its electronic portal, as part of its efforts to develop services and streamline procedures, enabling beneficiaries to complete their transactions remotely without the need to visit the Authority in person.

The Authority clarified that the service allows applicants to submit requests, pay fees, and receive certificates electronically. It covers three types of certificates: a Non-Objection Certificate, a Complaints Report, and a Certificate of Penalties and Complaints Under Review Referred to the Authority.

It noted that the fee for issuing a certificate is 20 Kuwaiti Dinars, with the transaction completed and the certificate issued within three working days from the payment of fees. The certificate remains valid for three months.

The Authority explained that using the service begins by accessing the Authority’s website, selecting “Services” and then “Request Certificates,” logging in and authenticating via the “Huwiyati” application, specifying the applicant’s status and the type of certificate, entering contact details, completing the form, attaching any required documents, and finally submitting the request.

It added that after the request is reviewed and approved, the beneficiary receives a notification via the “Sahl” application to pay the fees electronically through “KNET.” The certificate can be downloaded from the electronic services portal immediately upon issuance, and a copy is also delivered via the “Sahl” application.

The Authority emphasized that the certificate is issued entirely electronically and is considered valid without the need for a signature or stamp.
