- Tehran is eager to reach an agreement.. and we impose “the greatest blockade in military history”
US President Donald Trump confirmed that the United States is carrying out limited strikes inside Iran, noting that they are achieving their objectives, amid ongoing communications between Washington and Tehran regarding a potential agreement.
Trump stated that his country is currently engaging with the Iranians, who are strongly keen on reaching an agreement, adding, “We’ll see how things unfold.”
He emphasized that the United States is imposing what he described as “the greatest blockade in military history,” asserting that nothing can pass through the Strait of Hormuz without Washington’s approval.
He added that Iran had developed a small anti-aircraft device, but US forces managed to destroy it.
In a separate matter, Trump expressed his belief that Russia and Ukraine are, for the first time, interested in reaching a settlement to end the war between them.
