November 9 a possible date for strikes... U.S. Central Command completes preparations pending Washington’s decision
U.S. Fox News reported that President Donald Trump held two meetings with his National Security team at the White House on Wednesday and Thursday to discuss the possibility of resuming military operations against Iran, amid U.S. preparations for potential new strikes.
The network quoted senior U.S. officials as saying the two meetings addressed the prospect of resuming military operations, noting that November 9 coincides with the new moon phase in the Middle East, when moonlight is weak or absent, providing favorable conditions for conducting military operations.
Fox News, citing reports quoting a U.S. official, stated that U.S. Central Command is finalizing its preparations for the possibility of resuming large-scale military operations against Iran, but has not yet received new directives from Washington to launch them.
These moves come as the U.S. administration weighs its military options toward Tehran, alongside ongoing diplomatic efforts to reach a settlement.
