The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation, represented by the Ahmadi Governorate Criminal Investigation Department, conducted a joint security operation in coordination with the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition in the industrial area. The operation targeted unlicensed grocery stores operating within residential zones, as part of security efforts to apprehend violators and combat unlicensed commercial activities.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that the operation led to the arrest of four Asian nationals found working inside the non-compliant stores.
It added that the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition issued the necessary violations against the non-compliant establishments and took legal measures in accordance with their jurisdiction.
