The General Directorate for Combating Narcotics has arrested five suspects in four separate cases, in possession of narcotics and psychoactive substances with intent to traffic and consume, as part of the Ministry of Interior’s ongoing efforts to combat drugs and psychoactive substances and their distributors.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement that the operations resulted in the seizure of 60 grams of cocaine, 50 grams of methamphetamine, 45 sheets saturated with “chemical,” 10 tablets of Captagon, as well as two sensitive scales.
It added that the suspects and seized items have been referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal action against them.
