The Criminal Court, presided over by Advisor Nasser Al-Badr and with the participation of judges Abdulaziz Al-Muqdad and Abdulhadi Al-Hajjari, and with Yaqoub Al-Bilam serving as clerk, sentenced the manager of a supply branch to a fine of 3,000 dinars and ordered the imprisonment of four defendants of Egyptian, Bangladeshi, and Indian nationalities for three years, along with their deportation from the country after serving their sentences. The defendants were convicted of misappropriating food supplies from a supply branch affiliated with one of the cooperative societies in the Al-Jahra Governorate, without the knowledge of the cooperative’s shareholders.
The case details reveal that the defendants deducted quantities of food supplies ranging from a quarter to half a kilogram from each sale and unlawfully appropriated them.
