The Yemeni Army announced on Saturday that it carried out 1,119 targeting operations against Houthi militia positions and movements over the past hours, as part of the “Yemen Dawn” operation. According to its statement, these operations resulted in the neutralization of 427 militia members and the destruction or damage of 142 military vehicles and equipment.
In a statement, Al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, said that the operations targeted militia leadership, gatherings, reinforcements, movements, positions, firing positions, and supply routes, using combat aircraft, drones, field artillery, and rocket launchers.
He added that the targeting coincided with field operations that led to advances by the forces and their control over several strategically important sites and highlands on the fronts of Al-Jawf Governorate, while combat operations continue on other fronts.
He noted that the Armed Forces and Popular Resistance continue their confrontations with the Houthi militia in Taiz Governorate, targeting their movements and reinforcements with air and artillery support.
Al-Nazili emphasized the continuation of military operations, while taking necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian property.
