Jahra Security Arrests 5 Residency Violators and a Fugitive During Campaign Against Negative Phenomena

The Directorate of Security for Al-Jahra Governorate conducted a field security operation covering the areas of Al-Naseem, Al-Qasr, and Al-Waha, in collaboration with the Committee on Negative Phenomena, which includes the Kuwait Municipality, the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, and the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition. The operation aimed to monitor violations, apprehend violators, and take necessary legal measures against them.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that the operation resulted in the arrest of five individuals for violating residency laws by engaging in commercial activities within a private residence, as well as the apprehension of a wanted person on charges of absconding related to a legal case.
It added that the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition issued three violation reports concerning food safety breaches, while the Kuwait Municipality issued four municipal violation reports, and the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy issued two reports related to violations under its jurisdiction.
The ministry noted the monitoring of three grocery stores and two bachelor accommodations, paving the way for taking appropriate measures in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations.
The ministry emphasized that the operation is part of the security and field efforts undertaken by the Directorate of Security for Al-Jahra Governorate, in cooperation with relevant authorities, to curb negative phenomena, monitor violations, and enhance compliance with laws and regulatory requirements, thereby contributing to the preservation of security and public safety.
