His Highness the Amir receives a letter from the President of the Maldives

- The Foreign Minister receives it and discusses bilateral relations and ways to enhance and develop them

His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, received a letter from the President of the Republic of Maldives, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, concerning the close bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and the frameworks for enhancing and developing them.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement issued today, Thursday, that Foreign Minister Sheikh Jara Al-Jarrah received the letter during his meeting with the Maldivian Minister of Islamic Affairs and Endowments and the Special Envoy of the Maldivian President, Dr. Mohamed Shaeem Ali Saeed.

It added that the meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, along with an exchange of views on issues of mutual interest.
