The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Wednesday that they carried out 749 precise targeting operations against the military capabilities of the Houthi militias over the past 24 hours, as part of Operation “Fajr al-Yemen” (Yemen’s Dawn). These operations resulted in the neutralization of 239 militia leaders and fighters, and the destruction or damage of 117 vehicles, armored units, and combat equipment.
Colonel Majid al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, stated in a press release that the operations targeted field command centers, fortifications, artillery positions, reinforcements, and the militias’ movement and supply logistics across various fronts and axes.
He added that the strikes contributed to suppressing fire sources, disrupting the militias’ field command, and depriving their forward positions of support and resupply.
He noted that units of the Yemeni Armed Forces and the Popular Resistance continued to consolidate their field gains in Taiz Governorate and expand pressure on Houthi positions, alongside ongoing offensive operations on the fronts of Al-Jawf, Marib, Al-Bayda, and the southern and southwestern fronts.
He affirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces remain committed to executing their missions in accordance with the operational plan, while taking necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian objects.
