Foreign Minister Discusses Strengthening Bilateral Relations with Saudi Energy Minister

Al-Jaber reaffirmed Kuwait’s absolute solidarity with the Kingdom and its support for its measures to counter the terrorist Houthi attacks.
Foreign Minister Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber held talks with Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Energy and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on the deep-rooted historical ties and strong fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples, and on ways to enhance and develop these ties across various fields.
The talks took place during a meeting held today, Wednesday, as part of the Foreign Minister’s official visit to Riyadh.
During the meeting, the Foreign Minister reaffirmed Kuwait’s absolute solidarity with the fraternal Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its full support for all measures and steps taken to safeguard its sovereignty, protect its security and stability, and counter the terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi militia.
He emphasized that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of Kuwait and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
The two sides reviewed ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations, in line with the directives of the wise leaderships of both countries and in response to their aspirations for greater integration and joint cooperation.
