The Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources launched its “Deer” electronic platform in its first phase today, Wednesday, as part of the authority’s strategy for digital transformation to deliver its services and streamline procedures.
The Acting Director General of the Authority, Faisal Al-Masbouhi, said in a speech during the platform’s launch ceremony that the platform will provide advanced digital services based on modern, integrated databases, thereby facilitating beneficiaries’ access to the authority’s services.
Al-Masbouhi added that this step aligns with the authority’s aspiration to convert all its services into advanced digital ones that contribute to improving service levels and procedures, expressing gratitude to all those involved in the project.
For his part, Dr. Khaled Al-Faiz, Project Manager of the “Deer” platform, said in a similar speech that the first phase is limited to reporting harmful animals and registering pets, such as cats and dogs.
He clarified that the platform’s services are available to citizens and residents who have a civil ID, noting that additional services will be rolled out in subsequent phases, including services for breeders.
