The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Sunday that they carried out 753 precise and direct targeting operations against the military capabilities of the Houthi militia over the past 24 hours, as part of Operation “Fajr al-Yemen,” confirming the neutralization of approximately 218 militia fighters and field commanders.
In a statement, Colonel Majid al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, said that the operations resulted in the destruction and damage of 78 military vehicles, armored vehicles, and heavy and medium-caliber weapons.
He clarified that the targeting included advanced field command and control centers, fortifications, firing positions, and militia concentrations and reinforcements, as well as their movement and supply means.
Al-Nazili added that the operations contributed to disrupting the deployment of militia forces into battle and supported raid, assault, and maneuver operations by the Yemeni Armed Forces across various fronts.
He emphasized the continuation of the Yemeni Armed Forces’ offensive to degrade the militia’s capabilities to mobilize and reorganize, stressing that operations were confined to legitimate military targets and that necessary precautions were taken to protect civilians and civilian property.
