Oil Minister discusses with ambassadors of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan enhancing bilateral cooperation and expanding economic partnerships

Kuwait’s Minister of Oil and Chairman of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, Tariq Al-Roumi, held separate meetings with the ambassadors of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan accredited to Kuwait, discussing the enhancement of bilateral relations, the strengthening of cooperative ties, and the expansion of coordination in areas of mutual interest.

The Ministry of Oil stated in a press release on Sunday that Minister Al-Roumi received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Kuwait, Nurlan Tokubaev. The meeting reviewed the bilateral relations between Kuwait and Kyrgyzstan and explored ways to develop cooperation across various fields, thereby enhancing mutual interests and supporting collaborative pathways between the two countries.

The ministry also noted that Al-Roumi met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Kuwait, Khosrow Nazari. During the meeting, Kuwaiti-Tajik relations were reviewed, along with ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination in areas of mutual interest. The discussion also covered prospects for developing economic relations and enhancing cooperation opportunities in the energy sector, serving the common interests of both countries.

The Ministry of Oil emphasized that these meetings underscore the importance of maintaining communication and joint coordination, enhancing opportunities for knowledge exchange, and developing bilateral cooperation areas, all of which contribute to expanding economic partnerships and supporting shared interests.

It further clarified that these meetings reflect Kuwait’s commitment to strengthening its ties with friendly nations and enhancing channels of international communication and cooperation, thereby supporting mutual interests and opening broader horizons for bilateral partnerships.
