- Execution of 736 targeting operations under “Fajr al-Yemen,” destroying and damaging 68 vehicles and weapons systems

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Saturday that they carried out 736 targeting operations over the past 24 hours as part of “Fajr al-Yemen,” striking field command posts, militant concentrations, reinforcements, and weapons depots belonging to the Houthi militias.

Brigadier General Majid al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, stated that the operations neutralized approximately 307 Houthi militia commanders and field operatives, in addition to destroying or damaging 68 military vehicles, armored vehicles, and heavy and medium weapons systems.

Al-Nazili clarified that the operations targeted the militias’ field command centers, firing positions, fortifications, and movement and supply lines.

He added that the Yemeni Armed Forces struck a command and control center, heavy artillery positions, and weapons stores at the abandoned Sofitel Hotel, after the Houthi militias had converted it into an observation post and a source of fire to threaten residential neighborhoods and perpetuate the siege on the city.

He noted that the operations coincided with airstrikes and attacks that helped suppress hostile fire sources, reaffirming the continued military pressure on militia formations, monitoring their movements and reinforcements, and responding to them based on field conditions to limit their ability to influence the course of the battle.

Al-Nazili emphasized the Yemeni Armed Forces’ commitment to the rules of international humanitarian law and the adoption of necessary measures to protect civilians and civilian objects.
