Saudi Arabia: Threat Cleared from Riyadh, Najran, and Wadi Al-Dawasir After Early Warning Issued

Saudi Civil Defense announced today that the threat has passed in the cities of Riyadh and Najran and in the Al Wadi Al Dawasir province, urging the public to continue following instructions, avoid gatherings and photography entirely, and call the emergency number (998) in case of emergencies.

Earlier today, Civil Defense had issued an alert through the National Early Warning Platform for Emergency Situations in Riyadh, Najran, and Al Wadi Al Dawasir to warn of the danger.

Through its official account on the social media platform X, it called for adhering to safety guidelines and official instructions, maintaining calm, and immediately moving to the nearest safe location inside a building or an interior room away from windows, staying there until the threat subsides, not leaving the home or building, avoiding open areas and glass, and refraining from standing on balconies or rooftops.

It also urged people to call the emergency number (998) upon noticing any danger and to follow instructions issued by relevant authorities through official channels.
