U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday hinted at the possibility of launching a new military operation against Iran soon if no agreement is reached with Tehran, urging the Iranian side to enter into serious negotiations.
Trump, speaking at a campaign rally in Florida, said that the United States had completely destroyed Iran’s uranium enrichment capabilities during the “Midnight Hammer” operation, before completing the mission through an “Epic Fury” operation.
He added, “We may launch another small ‘Epic Fury’ operation, or perhaps they will agree to a deal,” expressing skepticism about Tehran’s readiness to respond to calls for negotiations.
Trump reiterated his assertion that the United States had “defeated” Iran, anticipating a sharp drop in oil prices in the near future.
