Judicial rulings derive their authority from the independence of the judge and the application of the law to ensure justice and societal rights

Judicial rulings are the clear voice of justice, the decisive word that settles disputes and restores rights to their rightful owners. They are not merely documents written or words recited in courtrooms; rather, they represent the last refuge for every wronged person and the security that individuals seek within their society.
The authority and strength of these rulings derive from the judge’s impartiality and independence, as well as their faithful application of the law without bias or favoritism. A ruling undergoes lengthy and meticulous stages of investigation, scrutiny, and study—including hearing witnesses, reviewing evidence, and assessing legal necessities—to ensure that no one is wronged and that facts are established beyond any doubt. The ultimate purpose of issuing rulings extends beyond merely resolving disputes; it aims to safeguard societal stability and instill a sense of reassurance in people’s hearts. It affirms that there is a protector of rights and a deterrent against anyone who dares to infringe upon the freedoms or property of others.
Since established justice is the foundation of sovereignty, the binding nature of judicial rulings and the obligation to enforce them constitute the true test of the rule of law. A judicial ruling holds no value if it remains confined to files without implementation that brings life to its affirmation of truth. Ultimately, a judicial ruling remains the most prominent symbol of justice and the fruit of arduous efforts aimed at establishing the principles of truth and equity, ensuring that society remains cohesive and secure under the umbrella of Sharia and the law.
