The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Thursday that they carried out 780 targeting operations over the past 24 hours as part of the “Yemen Dawn” operation. According to a statement issued by the forces, these operations neutralized approximately 512 members and commanders of the Houthi group and destroyed or damaged more than 330 military vehicles and armored units.
In its statement, the Yemeni Armed Forces said the operations targeted Houthi field commanders, concentrations, reinforcements, and military positions on the northern fronts, as well as in Al-Jawf, western Marib, Al-Bayda, and the southern and western fronts.
The statement clarified that the strikes hit fortified positions and emplacements for heavy weapons, alongside vehicles and transport means for personnel and supplies. It noted the destruction of heavy weapons and reinforcements that were en route to the combat lines in Taiz Governorate.
It added that the operations disrupted the organizational structure of Houthi forces and deprived them of reinforcing their forward positions, thereby boosting the momentum of the attacks and enabling military units to continue their missions across various fronts.
The Yemeni Armed Forces affirmed their continued monitoring and targeting of Houthi capabilities and mobilizations, warning that any attempts to compensate for their losses or regain the initiative would be met with force and decisiveness, in accordance with international humanitarian law, while taking necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian objects.
